Artist Ann Worthing and composer Amos Gillespie's shared goal was to capture the youthful essence and joy of creation in the moment, not encumbered by over thinking or a lengthy development process. It was achieved through discussion and research into each other’s work and general aesthetic, the aesthetic of both art and music. The primary aim was to synthesize the two works, giving the viewer and listener a strong impression that the pieces were connected and derived from a similar place.
