Ice slowly melts; water begins its movement; first drips and drops, then tributaries and streams; flowing, branching, and pushing forward. The common pattern of a river network, the veins of a leaf and the circulatory system that pulses through our very hearts, reminding us that life cycles onward. This is the hope that we yearn for in the cold seasons of our lives. The promise of renewal as winter’s chill gives way to spring’s warmth.
